Once you are registered and have an appointment I will send you an invitation via your phone, to connect with me through SIGNAL. Signal is a secure texting app for your phone, which is the only way I communicate with clients via text.
VIDEO CONFERENCING PORTALS:
Below are the secure VIDEO platform links I use for VIDEO conferencing. I will send you invitations by your regular email for both of these links or you can use and follow the links below. VSEE is a downloaded application you will download directly to your device. I use Vsee for video appointments and it is my first choice. Please assure you download the Vsee app to your computer and become familiar before your appointment. At appointment time you will need to have Vsee open and I will call you at the appointment time through Vsee. Please assure Vsee has permission to use your video and mic. You usually have to go through your system preferences on your computer to do this.
DOXY is a secondary video platform I use if Vsee has issues in your location. Doxy is accessed by direct online link (no downloading needed) My Doxy link takes you to my Doxy office platform. That link is also noted below. Please keep it handy should you be directed to go to My Doxy link instead of Vsee.
GETTING READY FOR YOUR VIDEO APPOINTMENT:
For your confidentiality and for appointment continuity please make sure phones, people, pets and other things that might distract or interrupt your appointment are addressed before you sign on for the appointment. Assure your appointment meeting place is quiet/confidential and comfortable and situate yourself where your signal is the strongest and you won't be overheard/interrupted. Check to make sure your equipment works before session to include sound, video and connection. You can do a TEST CALL on Vsee before the appointment which will give you signal bars indicating internet strength which is another way to check where your signal is the strongest. It is helpful to turn off anything that drains on your internet such as notifications and keep anyone that would try to use your internet during session time so that you do not have additional drain on the system while you are in session. This includes turning off all notifications.
